The student accommodation campus is planned to engage up to 5000 students of the University of Applied Sciences in Indore. The campus is planned to be built in three phases and therefore the design must have independent building parcel components that when put together works holistically as well. The concept is that of a high quality triangular mesh that make up the individual building parcel components. The parametric model generates many variants of the mesh which are then developed geometrically in 3D through a sequence a computational operations. The building massing is then evaluated for daylight and solar gain and an appropriate choice of variant is made for further design development.
